Shedding Light on Myopia Through Inherited Retinal Disorders

This PhD project aims to decode the role of candidate genes in myopia onset and progression, with the goal of advancing both diagnosis and treatment. The project will combine molecular biology, genetics, and functional approaches, with the long-term goal of improving diagnosis and developing targeted therapeutic strategies.

Research Environment
The successful candidate will join a dynamic and international research environment within the limits2vision program, a collaborative network linking the Vision Institute in Paris and the Institute of Ophthalmology Research in Tübingen.
The selected candidate will work at the Vision Institute in Paris.

Candidate Profile
We are seeking a curious, driven candidate eager to tackle a major global health challenge at the intersection of genetics, neuroscience, and translational research.
